Step 6: Have Home Inspected

Typically, purchase offers are contingent on two very important factors. The home inspection and the Appraisal. After you have successfully negotiated the purchase contract you will set up a time to work with a professional inspector to check the property for signs of structural damage or things that may need fixing now or in the future.  As with any homes you will have a list of things that will need to be looked at maintained or simply replaced at some time. What you will be looking for during this home inspection will be items that were not visible during your initial walk through and considered before you made an offer.

It is important to take time to review the websites and list of inspectors early so when it's time to hire a professional you feel comfortable with that choice!
