Best friends and married team Bryan and Ashley James met on the campus of Eastern Michigan University nearly ten years ago. Since then both their relationship, familial status, and life goals have changed and bloomed. They have two daughters Breanne and Brooke James and a very energetic dog named Juice.
They are excited that they have finally joined their family with the Hinton Real Estate Group family. Like Bryan and Ashley’s personal relationship, the relationship that started with the Hinton Real Estate Group was one of friendship. They even purchased their first home with them! They enjoyed their personal experience with them so much that owning a home for themselves would not only be a dream for them come true but they set out on the proper channels to help others achieve the same dream! Along the way they were encouraged and supported by the owners of Hinton Real Estate Group. In July of 2016 they both joined Hinton Real Estate Group. Bryan and Ashley are steadily building a strong and beautiful family with the hopes to help those like them find happiness in their new homes.
In their spare time they both love to travel, play board games, and go to the movies. As individuals Ashley likes to cook, bargain shop, and entertain, Bryan likes to practice his golf skills, indulge in fitness based activities, and writing .

As a recent high school graduate Ashley set out to get higher learning in Ypsilanti, MI at Eastern Michigan University. During her time at Eastern she befriended a lot of people and was known as a people person.
In the time she spent at Eastern she met two people that would directly affect how she got into real estate today. She befriended, dated, then married the sweetest guy on campus – her husband and partner Bryan James. She also met a great friend, Kayia Hinton turned Kayia Robinson who convinced her that Real Estate was the business she wanted to partake in and would flourish because of her very hospitable and driven personality.
Ashely is not only a wonderful Realtor to work with, but she has recently earned the SRES® designation, from the Senior Real Estate Specialists®. REALTORS® like Ashely are trained to meet the special needs of Maturing Americans when selling, buying, relocating, or refinancing residential or investment properties.
As a wife and mother of three (two girls and a dog), some of her goals have changed but her drive has not. During her time at Eastern Ashley became very knowledgeable of the Ypsilanti area and as a homeowner is navigating through Washtenaw county like a pro! Outside of real estate Ashley loves to cook, travel, and finding small mom & pop establishments!
Bryan James
For the past ten years and all of his adult life Bryan has called Ypsilanti home. Whether it was graduating from Eastern Michigan University in 2012, marrying his wife Ashley in 2014, or buying a home and having his first child born in 2015, one thing has remained constant the place he’s begun to know as home. His time working and studying journalism has allowed him to gain an intimate knowledge of not just Ypsilanti but Washtenaw county through attending various events and city/ township meetings.
The James Family is motivated to build great relationships and see people fulfill their goals. Bryan enjoys writing in his spare time, playing chess and spending time with his family.
