Polar Express Day

Activities throughout Hartland's Historic Village include: cookie decorating at the Chamber Office; get your own Polar Express Bell from the Cornillauds in front of the Chamber office; create holiday art with Farmers Insurance Calderone Agency; ring the train bell, see the electric trains, and get a Polar Express Ticket at the Florence Dearing Museum; a family photo booth at Jellison CPA; magical reindeer feed at Ore Creek Veterinary; a burn barrel and craft at Flame to Fire; entertainment by the Hartland High School choir students at 10:45 am, Hartland High School Band at 11:30 am and a Frosty the Snowman sing-along with the Encore Theater cast from their December 1-3 show, all at the Hartland Music Hall; fun with the Hartland United FC (soccer!); face painting with Acorn Studio; bookmarks with Beauchamp Water on the library’s south lawn; and cocoa with marshmallows from Hartland SOUP. Plus, become a Certified Elf by completing fun activities at Cromaine and see a Real Live Reindeer on Cromaine's south lawn. Most importantly – hear the story The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg (published by Houghton-Mifflin) read at Cromaine. After this event, from Noon to 4 pm, visit Santa at the Hartland-Deerfield Fire Department! Drop-in at any spot. Look for signs from Hartland Insurance Agency.
