Halloween is nigh – and that means your little ghosties are likely ravenous for candy and spooktacular fun. Give wee goblins a little of what they crave ahead of the big night at the Wayne County Halloween Festival, which happens at Nankin Mills Park in Westland on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018.
The October festival kicks off at 1 p.m. with a costume parade. Despite the name, costumes are totally optional for kids – though it is the perfect time for them to go big and show off their freaky flair.
Live entertainment picks up at 1:15 p.m. with the Princess and Pirates Halloween Show and continues at 2 p.m. with the Ghost and Goodies Magic Show. Be sure to arrive on time to get your kids a front row seat to all the kooky antics.
