This is why in celebration of National Tourism Week, Visit Detroit is hosting a hometown tourist day on May 3 in the heart of downtown Detroit. Browse an exhibitor fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Campus Martius Park, where you can chat with representatives from metro Detroit restaurants, attractions, and hotels and pick up promotional brochures and coupons. Plus, you’ll have a chance to win one of several hometown tourist packages, including overnight stays at metro Detroit hotels, restaurant gift cards, event or tour tickets and passes for local attractions.
